The weekend is over =(
Back to work Monday it is, it is always a sad day for me. Our tour couldn’t come soon enough !
I drove a truck out of Auckland for the weekend helping a friend move to Tauranga. I always feel free getting behind the wheel of our van and the truck was no exception. Saw a few cool places we can definitely stop at when we start our tour, the Karangahake Gorge being one of them!
It will be time soon to start writing a list of all the places we have to visit when we are traveling New Zealand, I can’t start it too soon though because that will make going to work everyday even harder than it already is.

About 4 months to go..
Before we head off or even start thinking of leaving we still have so much to focus on at the moment. We move again in a week (we no longer have a house or any furniture, all we have to our names is a couple of cars, clothes, books and CD’s), I am focusing on being vegan & eating well, possibly starting some exercise so I can lose a bit more weight, oh and still working at a job I don’t enjoy much so that we can pay our debt off completely before we leave. Life goes on, even if we have such huge plans for the end of the year.
A friend suggested I draw my way around NZ while my partner sings his way around, another way to make a bit of money so that we can eat & so that I can keep doing art even while we are living in a van. Great idea Jess! I am sure NZ has many many beautiful drawing subjects to offer =)
